I am a  freelance web designer & developer, and everything else that comes with it, located in Hamilton, Ontario. My strength lies in bringing different technologies together to create online solutions for small and large businesses.

I take pride in my work and do anything in my power to bring my best into the game. However, what makes me unique (or so I have been told) is my personality. I’ve been called not the typical programmer, more than a couple times.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology & Economics from McMaster University, with a fair share of Programming, Multimedia and Engineering courses along the way.

Not surprisingly, what attracts me to the web development world is its multidisciplinary nature. To create a sound online solution one must know at least a little bit of everything; from graphic design to powerful, keyword-oriented writing to effective marketing strategies and branding. All this on top of understanding the many programming languages, existing software and other technical aspects that can help us get there.

My focus within the industry has lately been on Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Joomla! & WordPress although I am fairly comfortable with their building blocks: xHTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript and popular libraries such as jQuery and SimplePie.

Believe it or not, I also like to be active and social in my spare time, my most recent addiction being Squash. I also like kayaking, cross-country running, Tae-Kwon-Do and, somewhat more passively, love to play chess and the occasional puzzle game.
